Mugga is a stand-up comedian and actress who played Reema Pell in the Netflix series Orange Is The New Black. Her career began in stand-up comedy, where she gained recognition through performances on DEF COMEDY JAM and SHOWTIME AT THE APOLLO. She transitioned to acting with a notable role in the Oscar-winning film Precious (2009) as a restaurant worker. Mugga has appeared in various television shows including Bull, Power, and Homeland, and she has also featured in the film The First Purge (2018). Her upcoming role is in The Home (2025).
