Monica Dogra is an Indian singer and actress who is part of the electro rock duo Shaa'ir and Func. She grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Music from NYU. Dogra has appeared in notable films such as Rock On!! (2008) and Dhobi Ghat (2010). She also featured in the series Cartel (2021). Dogra's diverse background includes being the daughter of Kashmiri immigrants.
