Michael Sheasby

Michael Sheasby is an AFI/AACTA nominated actor who played Tex Lewis in Hacksaw Ridge (2016). He began his career on stage at the Sydney Opera House after graduating from the National Institute of Dramatic Arts in 2010, performing roles such as King Henry in Henry V and Valentine Coverly in Arcadia. Transitioning to film, he appeared as Walter Moody in the BBC's The Luminaries and Aidan Carrol in The Nightingale, which won the Special Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival in 2018. In 2018, he received the Casting Guild of Australia's Rising Star Award and was nominated for an AFI/ACCTA Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Nightingale.
