Matsumoto Kōshirō X is a Japanese kabuki actor who made his stage debut in 1978 at the Kabukiza Theatre, where he was given the name Matsumoto Kintarō III. He has appeared in films such as April Story (1998), Ashura (2005), and The Samurai I Loved (2005), as well as lending his voice to Pokémon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel (2016). In addition to his primary stage name, he is also known as Ichikawa Somegorō VII and Matsumoto Kintarō III. Matsumoto Kōshirō X is part of a lineage of kabuki actors, continuing the traditions of the Kōraiya guild.
