Mai Duong Kieu is a German-Vietnamese actress who gained international recognition for her role in the ZDF series *Bad Banks* (2018). She began her journey in the performing arts with various productions, including an adaptation of *Faust*, after being discovered on Myspace. Kieu studied Performing Arts in Leipzig from 2005 to 2007 and trained further at the *Theaterfabrik Leipzig* and in Nice. She appeared in the US reality show *The Quest* (2014) and starred in the film *Wir sind jung. Wir sind stark.* the same year. Kieu played Dr. Lilly Phan in the hospital drama series *In aller Freundschaft* from 2020 to 2025, and she also featured in *Einstein* (2015).
