Lai Suen is a Hong Kong actress who began her film career at the age of 17. She transitioned to television in the 1970s and became a well-known figure after joining TVB in 1990, featuring in numerous dramas such as The Greed of Man (1992), where she portrayed the mother of Adam Cheng Siu-Chau's character. Lai appeared in the film Lost In Love (2000) and retired after her role in Only You (2010), making few public appearances since. In 2023, she received the Outstanding Performing Arts Award from the Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild.
