Kunichi Nomura is a Japanese actor and writer who voiced Mayor Kobayashi in Isle of Dogs (2018). He has made cameo appearances in notable films such as Lost in Translation and The Grand Budapest Hotel. In addition to acting, Kun has a diverse career as a radio personality, book editor, interior designer, and creative director. He published a book titled Sputnik: Whole Life Catalogue in 2000, which features interviews with 86 artists and helped launch his writing career. Kun founded an interior design company, Tripster Inc., in 2004, and served as the creative director for the subculture magazine Studio Voice from 2015 to 2017.
