Kunchan is an Indian actor who made his debut in the unreleased Tamil film Manaivi (1969). He has appeared in over 650 Malayalam films, often taking on minor roles, but also featuring in significant character parts. His early career began during the era of black and white Malayalam cinema, with his first released film being Rest House (1970). Notable performances include roles in Ivar (1980), Nayakan (1985), and Lelam (1997).
