Ken Hutchison is a Scottish actor who played a sinister villager in Straw Dogs (1971). He gained early recognition for his compelling portrayals in dark, villainous roles, particularly under the direction of Sam Peckinpah. Following his performance in Straw Dogs, Hutchison appeared in The Wrath of God (1972) but struggled to find consistent success in Hollywood due to his unruly behavior. He returned to the UK, where he became a notable character actor in British television, featuring in series such as Shoestring (1979), The Sweeney (1974), and Jemima Shore Investigates (1983). Hutchison portrayed Heathcliff in the BBC's Wuthering Heights (1978).
