Ken Gampu was a South African actor who gained prominence with his role in the film Dingaka (1965). He began his acting career in Athol Fugard's play No Good Friday (1958) and later appeared in Cornel Wilde's adventure film The Naked Prey (1965). Gampu performed in The Gods Must Be Crazy (1980). Throughout his career, he transitioned from various occupations, including physical training instructor and police officer, before fully committing to acting. His impactful roles in the 1960s and beyond are remembered in South African cinema.
