KAORI is a Japanese voice actress and singer who contributed her singing voice to the character in Pokémon: Jirachi Wishmaker (2003). Before adopting her stage name in 2001, she was known as Midori Kawana and Akiko Kawana. She is also a member of the rock band SpunkyStrider. KAORI's work includes a role in Pokémon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew (2005). Her unique name is a blend of her real name, Ka-wana Mid-ori.
