Jasper Pääkkönen is a Finnish actor who gained prominence for his role as Saku Salin in the television series Salatut elämät (1999–2002). He has appeared in several successful Finnish films, including Bad Boys (2003), Matti: Hell Is for Heroes (2006), and Lapland Odyssey (2010). Pääkkönen achieved international recognition for portraying Halfdan the Black in the historical drama series Vikings (2015-2020). His work includes a role in Spike Lee's BlacKkKlansman (2018).
