Jane Curtin is an American actress who gained prominence as an original cast member of Saturday Night Live in 1975. She won two consecutive Emmy Awards for Best Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Allison "Allie" Lowell in the sitcom Kate & Allie during the 1980s. Curtin also starred as Dr. Mary Albright in the popular series 3rd Rock from the Sun and reprised her SNL character in the film The Coneheads. Her voice work includes a role in Antz (1998), and she appeared in the film Jules (2023). Curtin is often referred to as the Queen of the Deadpan.
