Jack White is an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer who appeared in the film Cold Mountain (2003) as Georgia. He gained fame as the lead singer and guitarist of the duo the White Stripes, which he co-founded in 1997 with Meg White. Their album White Blood Cells (2001) included the hit single "Fell in Love with a Girl," propelling them to international recognition. White also formed the Raconteurs in 2005 and the Dead Weather in 2009. He appeared in Jim Jarmusch's Coffee and Cigarettes (2003). In addition to his music career, White has ventured into acting, including a role as Elvis Presley in Walk Hard (2007).
