Iulian Postelnicu is a Romanian actor who won the Gopo Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance as Vali in Arrest (2019). He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in acting from the National University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest. Postelnicu has portrayed various characters in films such as Domestic (2012), A Decent Man (2018), and One Floor Below (2015), the latter earning him a Gopo nomination. His notable roles include Costin in Otto the Barbarian (2020) and Daniel in the HBO series Ruxx (2022). He also appeared in The New Year That Never Came (2024) and received a Gopo nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Postelnicu co-wrote the screenplay for Unidentified (2020), which won the Gopo Award for Best Screenplay.
