Igor Petrenko is a Russian actor who gained prominence after starring in the 'Zvezda' TV series. He graduated from The Shchepkin Higher Theatre School in Moscow in 2000. His notable works include the film 'Wolfhound of the Grey Dog Clan' (2006) and a portrayal of Sherlock Holmes in a 2012 series based on Arthur Conan Doyle's stories. Petrenko received the State Prize of Russia from President Vladimir Putin in 2002 and won the 'Nika' award for 'Discovery of the Year' in 2003. He also earned the 'Triumph' Award as the best young actor in 2004.
