Hind Rajab is a Palestinian girl whose tragic story inspired the film The Voice of Hind Rajab (2025). She was a five-year-old victim of violence during the Gaza war, which also claimed the lives of six family members and two paramedics. Following her death, multiple films were created to honor her memory, including the short film Close Your Eyes Hind, which won the Golden Calf for Best Short Film at the 2025 Netherlands Film Festival, and Hind Under Siege, which received the Jury Award for Best Narrative Short Film at the inaugural Gaza International Festival for Women's Cinema. The Voice of Hind Rajab, directed by Kaouther Ben Hania, premiered at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival, where it won the Grand Jury Prize.
