Hayat Van Eck is a Turkish actor who portrayed World Weightlifting Champion Naim Suleymanoglu in the film Pocket Hercules: Naim Suleymanoglu. He was born in Amsterdam to a Dutch father and a Turkish mother, spending his early years in the Netherlands before relocating to Izmir. Van Eck played Gaza in the 2017 film Daha / More, written by Onur Saylak. His performance earned him the Promising Young Actor Award at the 24th Adana Golden Boll Film Festival. He collaborated again with Saylak and Hakan Günday on the film Boga Boga, completed in 2022.
