Fred Dryer is an American actor who played Rick Hunter in the television series Hunter (1984-1991). Before his acting career, he was a defensive end in the NFL, playing for the New York Giants and the Los Angeles Rams, and he earned induction into the College Football Hall of Fame. In addition to his role in Hunter, he has made appearances in various other productions throughout his career.
