Edie McClurg is an American actress and voice artist who voiced Carlotta in The Little Mermaid (1989). Her film career began with a role in Brian De Palma's horror film Carrie (1976) as Helen Shyres. McClurg gained recognition for her performances in various television series, including Lucille Tarlek on WKRP in Cincinnati and Grace in Ferris Bueller's Day Off. She has also appeared in notable films such as A River Runs Through It and Planes, Trains and Automobiles. In addition to her acting, McClurg has lent her voice to characters in animated features like A Bug's Life and Cars. She is a former member of the Groundlings and has continued her work in improvisational comedy with the Spolin Players.
