David Soren is a director, writer, and actor who directed Captain Underpants (2017). A veteran of DreamWorks for two decades, he has contributed as a story artist on projects such as The Road to El Dorado, Chicken Run, and Shrek, and was the head of story for Shark Tale. His work includes directing Turbo (2013) and The Boss Baby: Family Business (2021). Soren graduated from Sheridan College and is the father of Coco Soren.
