Daniel Balaji is an Indian actor who gained prominence with his role as a police officer in Kaakha Kaakha (2003). He has worked extensively in the Tamil film industry and has also appeared in Kannada, Telugu, and Malayalam films. Notable titles in his filmography include Polladhavan (2007), where he portrayed the antagonist, Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu (2006), Bairavaa (2017), and Bigil (2019). Balaji's performances have been well-received, and he has continued to be active in various projects, including Vada Chennai (2018) and Tuck Jagadish (2021). He began his career in 1998 as a unit production manager for the unreleased film Marudhanayagam.
