Dan Karaty is an American TV personality and choreographer who created routines for pop stars like Jessica Simpson and Britney Spears. He has been a judge and choreographer on multiple versions of the dance competition show So You Think You Can Dance, including the American and Dutch-Belgian iterations. Karaty starred in the 2013 film Soof, which became the highest-grossing film in the Netherlands that year. He has also appeared as a judge or mentor on various talent shows such as X Factor and Holland's Got Talent. In addition to his judging roles, he was a performance stager and choreographer on America's Got Talent. Karaty produced and created The Ultimate Dance Battle.
