Chua Kah Joo

Chua Kah Joo is a Singaporean actor who played "Chen" in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984). A trained ballet dancer, he performed with the Wuppertal Ballet, Scottish Ballet, and London City Ballet during the 1970s. He is a Kung Fu Master and served as Grand Sifu of Wing Chun. After moving to London in 1980, he began teaching Wing Chun Kung Fu, which led to his casting in the film. He returned to Singapore in 1990 to continue teaching Kung Fu at his own studios.
