Chen Kun is a Chinese actor and singer who gained recognition for his role in "A West Lake Moment" (2005), which earned him a nomination for best actor at Taiwan's Golden Horse Awards. He studied at the Beijing Film Academy after being recommended by his vocal trainer to join the China Oriental Song and Dance Ensemble in 1995. His performance in "The Knot" (2006) won him a Huabiao Film Award for best actor, and he portrayed Chiang Ching-kuo in the successful film "The Founding of a Republic" (2009). Chen Kun also appears in "Creation of the Gods I: Kingdom of Storms" (2023).
