Catherine Jacob is a French actress who won a César Award for her performance in Life Is a Long Quiet River (1988). She gained recognition for her roles in Tatie Danielle (1990), Merci la vie (1991), and Neuf mois (1994), earning multiple nominations for Best Supporting Actress. Jacob began her career in the early 1980s, appearing in films such as Swann in Love (1984) and Les Nanas (1985). She also starred in the one-woman show Welcome to the Club. In addition to her film work, she participated in notable theatrical productions, including Paris-Nord - Attractions pour noces et banquets. Jacob appeared in the film Livid (2011).
