Catherine Dyer is an actress who appeared in the film Cell (2016). After graduating from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, she began her career in various mediums including commercials and theatre. Dyer moved to Los Angeles in 1991, where she also wrote and performed a successful one-woman show titled "Sorry to Keep You Waiting." Following the 1994 Northridge earthquake, she transitioned to a behind-the-camera role as a Development Assistant for Lifetime Television. Later, she returned to New York City and became Manager of Documentary Programming at A&E, earning an Emmy nomination in 2003. Dyer has returned to acting, featuring in works such as Simran (2017).
