Bruce Cabot was an American film actor who portrayed Jack Driscoll in King Kong (1933). He gained recognition for his performances in notable films such as the original Last of the Mohicans (1932), Fury (1936), and Dodge City (1939). Cabot also appeared in Diamonds Are Forever (1971). The character of Bruce Baxter in the 2005 King Kong remake was inspired by Cabot's role. He passed away in 1972.
