Brian Blessed is an English actor who portrayed PC "Fancy" Smith in Z-Cars. His notable performances include Augustus in the 1976 BBC adaptation of I, Claudius, King Richard IV in Blackadder, and Prince Vultan in Flash Gordon. Blessed also voiced Boss Nass in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace and Clayton in Disney's Tarzan. In 2016, he was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE). Blessed lent his voice to the character in Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans (2021).
