Billy Curtis was a dwarf American actor who played Mordecai in High Plains Drifter (1973). Over a career spanning five decades, he appeared in various roles primarily within the western and science fiction genres. One of his early notable performances was as a Munchkin in The Wizard of Oz (1939). Curtis also featured in the 1950s television series Adventures of Superman. His work included a starring role in the unique musical western The Terror of Tiny Town (1938), recognized as the only western with an all-dwarf cast. He was part of the performing troupe Singer's Midgets.
