Beth Rodden is an American rock climber who made history with her ascent of Meltdown in 2008, marking the first time a female climber reached the peak of the highest climbing grades. She was the youngest woman to achieve a 5.14a (8b+) climb and is among the few women to have redpointed a 5.14c (8c+) traditional graded route. Rodden partnered with climber Tommy Caldwell from 2000 to 2010, during which they accomplished the second free ascent of The Nose.
