Ángel Salazar is a Cuban-American actor who gained recognition for his role as Chi-Chi in Scarface (1983). Salazar's unique style blends street-smart humor, physical comedy, and audience interaction, reflecting his Cuban heritage. He appeared in Carlito's Way (1993) and took a hiatus from film for a decade, only resurfacing in 2003 with Harlem Blues and Vote for Me. After further breaks, he returned in 2005 with Rose Woes and Joe's and later appeared in Made in Brooklyn (2007). Salazar has also worked on short films, including Trust Me (2009) and Crumble (2010). His character in The Last Gamble (2011) shares his name, Angel.
