Dursun Ali Atay is a Turkish actor, musician, and director who played Mecnun in the popular surreal comedy series Leyla ile Mecnun. He graduated from the theatre department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and has participated in over fifteen films and theatre productions since his debut in 1999. Atay directed and wrote the film Limonata, which began shooting in June 2014, marking his directorial debut. He also starred as Commissioner Yusuf in the online series Masum and played Ali Astubay in Ayla: The Daughter of War (2017), Turkey's submission for the 90th Academy Awards. In 2018, he directed the action-comedy Ölümlü Dünya.
