Ahmed Best is an American voice actor and musician who played Jar Jar Binks in the Star Wars franchise. He gained recognition in the 2000s for this role, appearing in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999) and Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002). Best has also lent his voice to Jar Jar Binks in the Robot Chicken Star Wars special and worked on the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. In addition to his acting, he created, wrote, directed, and produced the TV show This Can't Be My Life. He received an Annie Award for Best Voice Acting in an Animated Television Production.
