As the film progresses, the initial tone of the mundane transforms into a tension-filled exploration of guilt, grief, and the specters of the past. The central conflict arises from Stênio's struggle to cope with his dark gift and the moral implications that come with it. Themes of identity and familial bonds are intricately woven into the narrative, as Stênio's interactions with the dead force him to confront his own mistakes and the consequences of his actions.
